And the Winner is.......

We've sure had a busy week and one of the main projects for Dallin this week has been finishing up his Science Fair Project. He wasn't allowed to have any parent help etc... so he decided on his topic and with a little prodding from Dave and me, he succeeded in doing quite a nice project. His project was on "Why we end up with red eye in most of our pictures". It was kind of fun to learn about it right along with him. He came home so excited from the judging saying that the judges who viewed his project seemed very interested and he was able to answer their questions. So we went last night to the "Award" ceremony to find out he had taken 3rd Place!!! He was soooooo excited, he couldn't sit down long enough to eat his dinner. What a great end to a busy project!!! Congratulations bud!! I sure am PROUD of you!!!!!!!!

The Birthday Girl!!!!

My baby girl turned 6 today. Happy occasion for her! Sad one for the mom:( Can't believe how fast the time has gone by. Seems like we were just rushing to the hospital yesterday. She is so grown up!!! and very SMART!!! Don't know how Dave and I will keep up with her brother and her. Sure do love her and her fun personality. Happy Happy Firecracker!!!!!!!

Brynlee / Church

So Brynlee told me all last week that she was going to go to church and be reverent all thru Sacrament mtg. She wasn't going to take anything to entertain herself, she was just going to listen to the talks. Well, all thru church Dallin tried to get her to talk to him and she wouldn't. We had High Council Sunday and the Stake R.S Pres. also spoke. When she was finished Brynlee said to me, "Mom, I'm so glad I listened to her. She taught me so much information about Jesus Christ." Can I tell you, she was so serious and I had a hard time not bustin up cuz it was so cute. I told her how proud I was of her and then turned to Dallin and started to laugh. Wow! She is growing up to fast!!! Next week she will be 6. My baby's growin up. Dallin always say's well I was your baby first. That he was and he's to big too.

"Springtime?" in my neighborhood

Can't decide if I'm ready for spring. Definitely know I'm not ready for the muddy mess. Can't keep up with my house already let alone adding mud on top of it all.;p) Dallin and his friends love to have mud fights and to go 4 wheelin in the mud.. YIPPEE guess who gets to clean him and the mess up when they're finished.

Mr. Q and Miss U's Wedding

Brynlee's kindergarten class had a little wedding today. Mr. Q and Miss U got married because Mr. Q can't make any words without Miss U. They had a little "ceremony" and a celebration (dancing and refreshments) after the wedding. Brynlee and I made cupcakes with blue frosting and two dove's kissing through a ring. The kids have been so excited about this wedding for weeks. They all dressed up in their "nice clothes" and just had so much fun. Brynlee said "I LOOOOOVED II!!!!!!!"

Just some fun "old" pictures

I was just looking through my pictures the other day and found so many fun "old" pictures of my kids when they were young. I thought it would be fun to put them on here to kind of stroll down memory lane. It amazes me how fast they have grown. Can't believe Bryn will be 6 in less then a month. Seems like Dave and I were just rushing to the hospital so he wouldn't have to deliver her in the back of the car. Where have those days gone?

Good Ole' St. George

Good ole' St. George. We went down to the nice weather today. Bryn and I were sooo excited to wear our capri's. Last day for temple to be open until March. It was crazy busy. Lot's and Lot's of people had the same idea. But that's good cuz then maybe some day soon we can have a temple here. Wouldn't that be nice. Although we love going down to St. George and going with Ben and Kim. We then tried to go to the Percy Jackson movie and it was sold out both in St. George and in Cedar. So we have to wait until Monday to go. Oh well now we have something to look forward too.
